Vaikom has an established place in the cultural map of India and has gained nationaland historic importance with Mahatma Gandhi’s Vaikom Sathyagraha . But educational facilities have sadly been at a standstill for a long time, thus forcing the residents of Vaikom to look elsewhere for a better education for their children. Realising the crying need for high caliber educational facilities for the region, Cherukoth Warwin John Foundation (Est 1990) has embarked upon an ambitious mission to rectify this situation. The first stage of the foundation’s projects has started with the Warwin School. Cherukoth Warwin Trust runs the school. The school managing committee supervises the activities of the School for its smooth functioning .
